BERLIN CHARTER REVISION COMMISSION
June 6, 2016 – Regular Meeting
** APPROVED MINUTES **
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Argazzi at 10:05pm on Monday June 6, 2016 in
Caucus Room A of the Berlin Town Hall, 240 Kensington Road, Berlin, CT.
Those in attendance were:

Dennis Kern
Sam Lomaglio

Maggie Morelli
Paul Argazzi, Chairman
Kate Wall, Berlin Town Clerk

None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Sam Lomaglio made a motion to accept the minutes from the June 2, 2016 Regular Meeting as
amended. George Millerd seconded the motion.
Motion was approved 5 – 0 with one abstention from Bart Bovee.
DISCUSSION ON THE CHARTER
The Commission discussed feedback received from the Public Hearing.
Bart Bovee made a motion to cancel the Thursday June 9, 2016 regular meeting and schedule a Special
Meeting for Monday June 13 at 6:00pm. Maggie Morelli seconded the motion.
Motion was approved 6 – 0.
PREPARATION FOR NEXT MEETING
Chairman Argazzi stated that the next meeting is Monday June 13, 2016 at 6:00pm in Caucus Room A.
Charter revisions must be delivered to the Town Clark on Tuesday June 14, 2016 for inclusion on the
agenda for the June 21, 2016 Town Council meeting.

Dennis Kern made a motion to adjourn. Motion was seconded by Sam Lomaglio.
Motion was approved 6 – 0 and meeting was adjourned at 11:15 pm.
