A meeting of the Berlin Zoning Commission was held on July 24, 1985.
Chairman Ferraguto called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Present - Commissioner Patricia Corrigan, Harris and Ross.
Also present - Emil Carlson, Zoning Enforcement Officer and
Alternates Barbara Edelson, Robert Baumann and Mary Wilcox.
Item I
Minutes of the July 10, 1985 meeting accepted as read.
Item II
It was voted to pay the following -
New Britain Herald $15.28

Item III
After discussing the request of the Berlin Zoning Commission pursuant
to a public hearing held on June 26, 1985
WHEREUPON motion made by Commissioner Harris, seconded by Commissioner
Corrigan it was unanimously
VOTED to APPROVE amending the Zoning Regulations - Dealing with Soil
Erosion and Sediment Control with the inclusion of the recommendations
of the Berlin Town Engineer.
Effective Date - August 5, 1985
Item IV
Chairman Ferraguto to review with Sam Pine of Raymond, Parish, Pine
& Weiner, Consultants, Berlin Zoning Regulations, Section 11.04 -
Sal- of Alcoholic Beverages for update, in conjunction with General
Statutes of the State of Connecticut, Section 30-15 - Classes of
Permits. Chairman to report at the next regular meeting.
Item V
Chairman reported that the Berlin Planning Commission had reviewed the
Proposed Plan of Development for the Routes 15 and 72 Corridor - He
to contact this Commission for a schedule for a joint review. Chairman
to report at the next regular meeting.
NOTE: This meeting recessed at 8:00 P.M. to attend a public hearing held
ON July 24, 1985 to consider the following request -
Alternate Mary Wilcox sat in place of Commissioner Joseph Suranna
Berlin Zoning Commission on its own initiative - Amend
the Zoning Regulations - Section 4.11 Use & Bulk Table
Page 13 - Column 1 Planned Industry
Column 9 - Minimum Yard Dimension in feet -
Change 75 to 50 foot front yard depth

Commissioner Mary Wilcox it was unanimously
VOTED to APPROVE amending the Zoning Regulations - Section 4.11 Use
and Bulk Table - Page 13 - Column 1 Planned Industry ~~

Change 75 to 50 foot front yard depth.
