COMMISSION MINUTES -- DEC. 13, ~9~5 (continued) GOLF COURSE/GROUNDS -- A1 Hawkins Mr. Hawkins reported that the heat has been turned down and water drained in the Clubhouse. He also reported that drain projects have been started on the 11 and 14 holes. A discussion took place on the driving lessons Mr. kansen is planning at the clubhouse. This will be taking place on a trial basis and the Commission will closely monitor the program. GREENS COMMITTEE -- George Wiecek Mr. Wiecek reported that a new simple score card is being worked on. It was found that a three color card would be too expensive. The Greens Committee recommends that the Daily and Weekend rates be adjusted as follows: rates for non-residents be increased by 50¢/9 holes and $1.00/18 holes, resident rates remain the same. Seasonal rates be in effect from May 1 to October 1 as follows: residents to $300, non-residents from $425 to $400, resident-dependent from $175 to $160, non-resident-dependent from $225 to $210, senior restricted play from $125 to $110, and senior non-restricted play from $225 to $210. A discussion took place and a motion was passed to accept and act upon the Greens Committee recommendations. PUBLIC GROUNDS -- Ted Hrubiec. £4r. Hrubiec reported that the underground drainage has been completed at Percival Pool, the parking lot at the Community Center has been repaired, all outdoor equipment has been stored inside, and all spring flower beds have been planted with red, white and blue tulip and hyacinth bulbs. Mr. Hrubiec suggested that the Commission go over the soccer schedule. He is concerned that overuse of baseball fields by the soccer program will ruin the fields. Mr. Hrubiec advised the Commission that he will make up a list of capital expenses. It was suggested that the broadcast booth at Sage Park be painted Mr. Hrubiec will bring it up to Mr. Russell. ' MEETING SCHEDULE The Commissioners agreed to keep the monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month_in 1985. 5~he meeting was adjourned at 9:45 P.[~l.
