Communications Received: 13, Minutes of April 5 and April 19, also April 26 for the Office of Selectman. Transfers: 1. It was voted to transfer the sum of $500.00 from Supervisor Directors Salary account to the Consultation account, all within the New Britain Visiting Nurse Association account. In Ref to Comm. #6. 2. It was voted'to transfer the sum of $1,500. from #127 Contingency to Expenditures, General Government, new Item 3d, Preliminary Plans, Swimming Pool. In ref to Comm. Recd ~. 3. It was voted to transfer the sum of $275.00 from surplus in the Capitol Equipment Account of the Police Department for purchase of a new typewriter and used adding machine. In ref. to Comm Recd #5. 4. It was voted to transfer the sum of $200.00 from Elect~on Workers item, in which there iv a surplus, to Registrar's Canvas ~n which there is s deficit anticipated, all within the allowed budget of said Board. Bills Received: 1. A bill from the Herald Publishing Company d~ted ~s¥ lg, 1965 for 8;~ lines @ .21¢ - Total $176.82. ~Approved for payment out of #6, Board of Finance Expense. Members Present: Chairman P.D. [)oran and Messrs. W. S. Brown, T. W. Ward and S. S. Sargis. Transfers: 1. It was voted to authorize the Board of Selectmen to call a Town Meeting to act on the following appropriations from the Genera1 Fund: (1) The sum of $975.00 t~ Item #137 interest on School Bonds and (2) The ~um of $3500 to Item #141 retirement of School Bonds. 2. It was voted to transfer $&97.13 from #127 Contingency to #2Ob Redevelopment Commission to complete playments in full to Robert W. Jones and Raymond and May Assocfat&s thereby completing the Community Renewal Program. New Business: 1. This expenditure had not been anticipated or provided for in the 196&-65 budget because it had been expected that the bonds would not be floated until July 1. However, the bonds were floated as of June 1 several weeks after the budget had been c~mpleted and adopted.
