Thosei present were Chairman Dr. Kir. iry, Mr. ~ates, Mr. Lubin, Mr. Klotz, Mr. Mierzejewski, Mr. _raradis, Mr. Paris, Mr. Bergstrom, Mr. Roe, Mr. Gr~hum, Mr. Hrubiec & Mr. Hansen. Mr. P. Cugno representing the A~erican Legion Baseball T&~ was also present. A letter w~s read in which they requested that the Conmission p~y for umpires. Dr. Kiniry exploined to him that there was no money available, theft the I974-I975 budge~ hsd been submited ~md approved. A letter w~,s received by ~ Miss McCarthy and Mr. Hill concerning their summer jobs ~t the pools, they thought they were overlooked. Mr. Roe explained his position & .they explained their position at Mr. Roe's of£ice. They also were present at this meeting. Dr. Kiniry w~nt over the procedure in hirihg end the salaries. ~he situation was irone~ out. - The Commission will recommend these two persons to ~ill the Director & Captain of the Gu~rds jobs ~t the Zast Berlin pool when it opens. The ~xeoutive ooard will name one to each posivio;~. D~ Kiniry read a letter which appeared in the "Letter to the Editor column" concerning the conditions o~ the local tennis courts. He asked whose responsihility this was? Mr. Grah~m stated Vhat there w~s an electric proLlem with the light at McGee. It is ~eing taxen care o±~. Mr. Roe stated that nets had been ordered last Dec. and just arrived ~.nd have been p~t up. Mr. Hrubiec has obtainea ~ ~.id to resur~'ace the courts. There£ore all problems have been t~en care of. A letter from ?(r. Lunt of tha Little League and a letter from Mr. S~rano from McGee school wer~ a£so read. The tennis court at H:~wthorne Inn can be used from 7.30 A.M. to 1.30 P.M. weekdays & if not being t~sea they csn play w;~ekends. it was ~-~*=~ t~at ~ ~~ -essons be given at Timber!in & Hawthorne smd busing to lessons.if possible· Part time janitor- 'Mr. Graha. m, Mr. Hansen and the concessionaire will meet and decide what ~is'~duti~s will be u · ~.e will t~:ke care o~_' area adjacent to the Snack Bar..2I,DO0.O0 has b~en ~-ppropriated for a 20 week period. Three flags have b,.en put up at the Lions .~'air Grounds for a driving range. The Commissioh has given an O.K. to a request by vhe ~cott Co. for Mr. Graham to attend a work shop in Ohio on June I8-2I,' all exp~nses p~-.yed. Nr. Hanson stated t. hat th Big i:~ Tournament was a big success. $I~6,000.00 h~,s been t~en in at ~he goal' course this ye~:r. A Ladies invitational was held June 6, I974. About 3DO played each day at the course. The course ia in exce~lenz condition. Dr. Kiniry suggested that the Greens Committee make a complete study on the possibility oZ constructing a ar~v~ng range, parking lot & a 9 hole executive oours e.
