"Mr. Maule, Mr. Graham, Mr. Roe, Mr. Hrubiec, and Mr. Hansen, and Mr. Paradis. A letter was r~ceived from the Timberlin Me~;'s Club, complaining about a picnic dinner which was served by the snaco~ bar co~,~cessionaire. It cost $7.50 per person. A stea~ with the salad 'and beer were free. They complained about the paper plates, s!iverware, and two Steaks being short. Mr. Zicarrdo stated that the complaints were valid. The Mm's Chub ast~ed for a discount after the picnic, but had agreed on the price and saw the size of the steaks before t,~e picnic. Mn Zicarrdo also st ted that his impression was that the club was looking for £au±ts, he donated 15 cases -f soda and was not thanked. The snack bar business is down 1/3 when a tournament is being held. The commission ·felt that the letter and the complai ~ts were unwarrm~ted. Mr. Bergstrom stated that a minority group of the club ws'~s complaining. Dr. Kiniry stated ma~be the club has resented the fa~t that the commis:: ion did not Dermit at first a request of the 1973 tournaments and asked them to do business with the s~ac~ bar. Two representa.tives from t he Americs~n Legio~ were present. A lot of time was spent on echool property. Next football will be worked on. Dr. Kiniry instructed Mr. Hrubiec to compose a-letter to be sent to the Board of Finance stating that more manpower is needed '~ meet the dem~xd of the work. Mr. Roe urged all to attend a Towu Meeting on September ll, 1973 to vote on the new towu hall complex. Mr. Roe presented to the commission ~lans for the concession staud and storage shed for Community Field. Mr. Roe stated that the Board of Finance allowed more money for tennis lessons. All playground reports have not been ~ent in, all attendance up at playground, pool a~d basketball well atte;~ded. Tennis, bridge, flag football and mature programs will be run this fall. The Park and Recreation owes t~e Lions Club $ 200.75'for tag fee's for the Rool this year. The fellowing bills were Approved for Rayment.
