Also Morgan Seeyle, Director of Public Works, and Margaret Gooby. 2. Agenda Item ~2 - Disposition of Birch Lane (so called) Standards and Assessment! James C Carol Ringrose and Mr. Tompkins were present for this discussion. The Board of Selectmen has requested that we set road standards and assessments for improving this road. The old road bed goes from Edgewood Road to Southington Rd. at the Southington town line. This road is quite passable at this time from Edgewood west to the curve at the Ringrose property where there is a Pock ledge and gully. It was the thought of the Commission that (1) if this road were to be improved west as far as the mock ledge ending in a cul-de-sac, about 1200-1300 feet, and the rest of the old road bed abandoned by Town Meeting action, then the road could be built to less than standard specs., or according to our proposed road specs, for ~ountain Reserve areas; (2) if it were to be extended all the way to Southington~oad, then it would have to be built according to standard road specs. Abandonmen~ of the western end would not land-lock any property owners. Mr. Seelye also presented a plan for improving the road along the old road bed from Edgewood west to the Ringrose-Tompklns boundary llne and then running it north along the llne for a distance of about 500' ending with a cul-de-sac. This would enable both property owners to divide their lot into 2 lots each fac~hg on this road. Mr. Seelye was asked to p~epare costs based on these three p~oposals and to have them ready at our next meeting, February 16. 3. Agenda Item #1 - Final approval Section I Woodcliff - Mr. Robert Johnson appeared and presented the following map "Section I Map~of Woodeliff, Chamberlain Highway, West Lane, and High Road.
