The Commission For The Aging was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by.
Chairman Gene Chartrand`, Members present: Halina Bilosz,
Dorothy Breski, Lorraine Clark, Agnes Maier, Joseph Murphy and
Francis Spires; Also present: Director Ellen Burbridge;
Excused: Assistant Director Pat Menta
I. Minutes of the June_17th,: 1991 - A Motion was then made by
Joseph Murphy and Seconded by Agnes Maier.to accept the minutes
of the June 17th, 1991 meeting. All in Favor. - Motion carried.
II. Old Business
_
a). Audience of Citizens - No Report;
b). Home/Help topic - no further information from Susan
Buckley has been reported;
c).. October Flu shots - Director Ellen Burbridge .has
addressed a letter on September 13, 1991 to M. J. Engle, Public
Health Director, concerning the dates for the October Flu
shots. It was suggested by Ms.-Burbridge that Tuesday and
Thursday be considered,,
d). $11 Data Base and Emergency Use - Director Ellen
Burbridge to follow up with this program with Susan Buckley.
III. New Business
Chairman Gene Chartrand requested from the Commissioners
that they submit five (5) ideas regarding the overall programs
at the Berlin Senior Center. The ideas should involve:
1): Programs that the *BSC should become involve with;
2). Existing programs to phase out;
3). Other programs -the BSC can obtain;
4). Overall view of the BSC.
