Meeting called to order at 7:42p.m.
Present: Chuck Davis, Barbara Brown, Peter Middlemass, Dave Matthews
Thomas Zigmont, Jerry Symotrez", William Davis, Joseph Suranna,
Sister Clair, Alice Mitchell, John Bqccaro, Rev. Beverly
Leach, and Mr. Campinario.
Items of Business.:., -
Bill Davis gave historical information of the Juvenile
Review Board: He explained what the police may.do, and
what the court may do. Detention homeswill no longer
be in affect as of July 1, 1981, but the child may be
referred to court.
Chuck Davis talked about Budget Considerations: - A full
..:time Service Worker may be hired to work with the Juvenile
Revid'w"Boa-rd in addition to working with Chuck Davis and
Mike Sangelo-ty.,for follow-up work and case work.
Considerations must be made to decide if families will be
reinbursed'for taking kids in.
A meeting will be called the week of November 17, 1980,
with Brenda McGavarri,.Chief of Police, and the Mayor to
discus s,.,problems of children:'-- housing, money, responsibilities
etc.
