Chair►nan Moore called the meeting to order at 6:37 P.M.

Review of the Minutes
Karen Pagliaro moved to approve the minutes for October 13, 2020, seconded Robert Lewis by
passed unanimously.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
Director Malinka reported that two staff inembers are in quarantine right now due to Covid-19.
The library has done over 5000 curbside pickups.The plan is to continue curbside after the
pandemic is over. Newington library has shut down again due to the pandemic. Director Malinka
has a meeting tomorrow within a few other towns to discuss shutdowns due to the pandemic.At
this time the staff feels very safe. Plexiglas is up and precautions are being taken.The garden club
put up a beautiful tree in the library.The library had a couple days when the town was working on
Kensington Road that had very little business."Ditch Dewy" is still being worked on and more so
during down time.

OLD BUSINESS:
Director Malinka reminded members that the board is down a board member. If any one knows
anyone that might be interested please have him or her fill out an application. Director Malinka also
reported that she got a video testimonial for the library from a patron. She talked about how she
was able to download books while she was hiking on the Appalachian Trail.
NEW BUSINESS
ACLB Virtual meeting- Director Malinka reported to the group that this meeting is all virtual this
year.The meeting is on Thursday November 19, 2020.The topics are excellent.There are four
speakers. She asked that the board members attend.
Memory Kits -These kits will be available for checkout. These kits will include things from he past
and present including fashion,music, conversation starters and lavender oils. Bags are being made
from American Embroidery in town.These will start circulating in December.
Karen Pagliaro has a friend that does essential oils and might be interested in doing an
aromatherapy virtual class. She will inquire.
Director Malinka would like Outreach to think of ways to get people back into the building.

Karen Pagliaro made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 pm,seconded by Vice Chairman
Lewis, unanimously approved.
