ATTENDANCE:
Present: Gale Lemieux, Jonathan Zuk, Jim Bugella, Donna Bovee, Don Paris, Seb Senia
Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m.

B. New Business
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the consensus is to postpone the Timberlin Park 50�' Anniversary
Celebration until next year. Jon did inform the town council last night that in all likelihood that would be our
plan and they agree.
There was a discussion regarding sponsorships and we agreed on the following plan:
We plan to hold the Celebration in July 2021, but no particular date has been selected yet.
All sponsors will be contacted directly by a member of the SOth Anniversary Committee to discuss
accommodations related to sponsorships:
Platinum and Gold Sponsors ($1,500 and $750) will be offered an extension of permanent tee signs for an
additional year, 2021; as well as all other benefits as outlined in the 50�' Anniversary Sponsorship
Opportunities for the 2021 event.
If a sponsor has pledged but not paid for the sponsorship, payment must be received by the town by June 1 St
to receive the addition year for the tee sign. Previous tee sign sponsors that do not provide a check by June
1 St, will have their name taken off the tee sign.
Other sponsor levels that have paid: Will they allow us to keep their donation to use for next year's event?
While unlikely, if any insist on a refund, we will need to provide. A total of$13,850 was pledged, $6,950
was collected, and that includes the Ryan Lee Foundation.
Donna will contact Jeff Sirios regarding the bands. Jim will contact Deb regarding the ice cream truck. She
will not need to reapply to Park and Rec next year for this event. Marc will contact the high school coaches.
Jim will draft a press release for the paper and the SOth Anniversary logo—that he did a great job creating—
will be included in the release and all future correspondence.
We have requested a refund from CT Laser. Since the contract was never returned from CT Laser and
communication has been challenging, ���e have researched other laser companies and will likely go with a
different vendor next year.
We are going to proceed and purchase the flag with the logo to-.�b�'#1�awynat.Tir����once it's delivered. We

While disappointing that we have to cancel this year's celebr�tiori th� �r�u�i�g��ee��b reconvene in the fall
and start planning for next year. _
