Marc distributed a list of sponsors to date for a total of$7,450. He is waiting to hear back from several
more tee sponsors on their renewal. Marc also updated the budget and we have a draft budget for
expenses of about$22,000. Some items/activities can be added or deleted depending on how the budget
shapes up in the next few months. Donna will reach out to the Booster clubs for potential sponsorships or
in-kind services (volunteering) the day of the event. Art will speak with Joe Aresimowicz to see if he has
access to any fiinds for this event.
Jim is developing a logo for the SOth anniversary and will have drafts for us to review. We discussed
advertisements and the consensus vas to focus on Berlin only so the event isn't oversubscribed. CT
Laser will provide S logo sponsors on their screen as part of the packageve purchased. Thosevill be
used for our highest level sponsors.
Jon has met with Steve Wood who handles grounds maintenance for the town and he can supply 12-14
picnic tables; 5-6 sets of bleachers and trash barrels. Jon also met with Plannin and Zoning (P&Z) and
obtained several plot plans for us to sketch a preliminary layout to share with them.
Donna spoke with Jeff Sirois, the high school band director, and he will attend our next meeting and
provide some ideas hov his band can support this event.
Jon, Marc, and Gale met with Remzi to discuss the food concessions. He'll inquire about another food
truck. We stressed the importance of having sufficient food and staff to support potentially 600-1,000
folks. We will be issuing wrist bands after checking IDs for liquor purchase. We will also be selling
tickets for the meal that Remzi will provide, beer and wine. Food trucks will handle their own sales. All
trucks must be insured and pass Central CT Health inspection.
Marc provided an update on the tournaments he'll be running that day. Tee times in the morning for the
Timberlin Amateur; afternoon shot gun for the family oriented scramble.
Don is working on a history of the development of the park for the program. g='- i i: `
