ATTENDANCE:
Present: Marc Bayram, Gale Lemieux, Jonathan Zuk, Jack Rudy, Art Powers, Don Paris
Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m.
A. Audience of Citizens: None
B. New Business
Jim was not able to attend the meeting today as he is meeting with CT Laser to give them a check
for the deposit for the laser show. We are committed for 7/18/20.
Gale and Jon met with Remzi regarding food concessions as he has an exclusive to serve food and
liquor in his contract. He will be providing a package of either hot dog or hamburger, chips and a
soft drink or water for$6. Remzi will also sect�re a pizza truck for pay as you go. He'll bring in
additional help, set up two grills and set up a keg under the tent. We will draft a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) regarding this agreement. If we can get hot dogs donated, we would like to
offer those to children age 12 and under at no cost. We will need a permit from the CT Health
District for any outside food service. Will try to secure a popcorn machine. Jim is inquiring about
the ice cream truck.
We discussed how we might be able to estimate the size of the crowd. Jack noted that the tree
lighting ceremony drew a very large crowd this year. Since our advertisement will be extensive,
we will probably have a very good number of people attend--(est 200-600)—could even be more.
Marc reviewed his plan for activities: mid-day shotgun golf tournament; after the tournament: long
drive contest on#10;putting activities; free lessons on the range.

Don and Art shared some interesting historical information on the beginning of the development of
the park and we will be incorporating some of this information in to the program for the event. �
We established dates for upcoming meetings through July 2020.
Next meetings: Wednesday, 1/8 and 1/22, then the first and 3rd Wed. of the month at 4:30 pm at the
community center.
