1962/05/241. Special Meeting Berlin Town Planning Commission May 7, 1961 at 7 P.M.
Members present: Robert Bennerup, Nunzto Rosso, Henry Wlnterbottom, George
Garrtty, and Aldo Csstigllon!. Also, James F. Klssane, Jr., Town Engineer and
Margaret Gooby.
2. Purpose of the meeting was to act on approving a section of Juniper Lane
shown on the following map "Property of Henry LaVtctoire located on Juniper Lane
Berlin, Conn., Scale 1"=40' July 1960 Oliver Paquette, L.S.".
Mr. Kissane reported that this road hss been built according to Planning
Commission specifications and recommended that it be recommended to the Board
of Selectmen for approval at the next Town Meeting.
Mr. Rosso ~ade a motion, seconded by Mr. Wfnterbottom, that this section of
Juniper Lane be recommended to the Board of Selectmen for approval and acceptance
as a town road. So Voted. A letter to this effect will be written to the
Board of Selectmen.

Also, James F. Kissane, Jr., Town nngineer. Also, Mr. S. Spielvogel, Consultant
for the Zoning Commission, end Zoning Commission members, Messrs. Dtskfn, Cormier,
and Gsrlick. Also Margaret Gooby. At 8 P.M.
2. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed Street Circulation
Plan as proposed by the Consultant, Mr. Spielvogel and how it differs from the
Street and Highway Plan submitted by Clarke Associates to the Planning
Commission and adopted by that Commission and now a part of the master Town Plan
of Development.
3. Mr. Spielvogel has compiled a llst of streets breaking them down into classi-
fications which would include streets that would be recommended to be 200'
80' wide, 60' wide, snd 50' wide. This would take the place of the Town
proposal that lots on heavily traveled streets h~ve their front footage
requirements increased 50%.
4. This proposal was thoroughly discussed and the Planning Commission will act
upon it at their next meeting.
