Mountain Bike Race at Hatchery Brook 2018 - Lauren Salee and the Upbeat House worked on the cleanup of bike race property prior to and after the bike race. She reported the trails are in good shape. Commissioner Lewis walked the trails prior to the race as well as after the race. He reported that the trails looked good after the race and the group did a great job getting it back to good. Vice Chairman Hoffman reported there are a couple of areas that need attention on the trails. These problem areas occurred prior to the bike race. Community Garden - Commissioner Pagliaro and Marek Kozikowski met with Public Grounds Foreman Steve Wood and discussed mulch and fence issues. Commissioner Pagliaro reported all the plots except one small plot are rented. None of the fence companies got back to her on the bids. Steve Wood asked what the cost was to take down the fence. Commissioner Pagliaro prosed public grounds possibly take down the existing fence. Chairman Delorenzo is in contact with Eversource about the potential grant. It has been added to the Town Council Agenda for the next meeting. Marek Kozikowski will check to see if the picnic table at the garden can be stored, somewhere once the fence project has begun. Commissioner Pagliaro would like to get rid of the metal composter on the garden property. Commissioner Pagliaro reported that the garden sign went missing. Next garden season, she would also like to get a combination lock and give out the code when people pay for their plot. He built a picnic table as well as painted another one.
