OFFICE OF THE SELECTMEN
The meeting opened at 7230 p.m. with the three Selectmen
present. Mrs. Mahanwas present from the Press. Mrs. Blanche Delaney
was present to observe.
Pending decision of the Board of Finance, tentative date
for meeting - town meeting - to decide on swimming pool to be located
at the Percival Field, has been set for Monday, August 16, 1965.
Pending decision of the Board of Finance, tentative date
for Town Meeting to decide on the Emhart question, has been set for
Monday, August 23, 1965.
Mr. Blackburn moved, Mr. Lanzoni seconded, again renewing
use of the old Percival School by the Kensington Congragational Church
for Sunday School purposes. Motion carried.
Mr. Powers advised that a meeting of Town officials will be
held to-morrow morning to again discuss the Emhart question.
Mr. Powers will check with Town Counsel on status of
Walter Zuk as our representative to the Mattabassett Sewer Authority
since he is no longer a resident of Berlin.
The meeting adjourned at 8~15 p.m.
