*MINUTES OF THE DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE*
*NOVEMBER 13 , 1984*
The Design Review Committee met on Tuesday, November 13, 1984
in Room 9 of the Berlin Town Hall at 7 : 30 P.M. Members in
attendance were : Hollis Kincaid, Arnold Carlson, Allan Hall ,
Emil Carlson, Marilyn Brierley substituting as Chairman and .
Juliet Benjamin, Secretary.
The Committee met with Mr. Eugene Massirio of AMERICAN PERFORMANCE
CENTER, 1281 Farmington Ave . , Berlin, to discuss plans for a
free standing sign.
The Committee also met with Mr. & Mrs. William F. Maltais , owners
of PRICE-BUSTERS, INC . to discuss plans for a sign. Price-Busters
is located in the former Censible Casuals location at 800 Farmington
Ave .
Mr. William Baretta, Jr. appeared before the Committee to discuss
plans for a second floor addition to be used as office space at
BARETTA PROVISION, 172 Commerce St. , East Berlin.
Mr. & Mrs . Henry LaVictoire appeared before the Committee to
discuss plans for an addition to their storage building at
LaVictoire Blasting , Inc. , 156 Seymour Road, Berlin.
Also appearing before the Committee were Mr. Robert Channell of
EASCO ALUMINUM, 500 Four Rod Road, Berlin and Mr. David Layman
Project Engineer for Naek Construction Co. , Inc. ,Vernon, Conn.
to discuss plans for a die storage addition at the front of
the building.
The Committee also met with Mr. William R. Secord of MARC DATSUN
1491 Wilbur Cross Highway, Berlin , to discuss plans for an
addition, 60 ' x 27 ' at the back of the building.
The Committee also met with Mr . Michael Roche , Project manager
for Pacesetter Buildings , Inc. to discuss some proposed changes
to the landscaping and a sign at NEW ENGLAND INSULATED WIRE , INC . ,
20- 24 New Park Drive , Berlin.
