On Tuesday, January 3 , 1984 , the Design Review Committee

in Room 9 of the Berlin Town Hall at 7 : 30 P .M. Members
attendance were: Mrs . Marilyn Brierley, Mr . Hollis Kincaid,
Mr . Allan Hall , Mrs . Ingebore Lukens , Coordinator for the
Beautification Committee , Mrs . Sally Macfarlane , Chairman &
Juliet Benjamin, Secretary,
The Committee met with Mr . Joel G. Jacobson, President of
Cinema Concepts , Inc . , 859 Mill Street, Store #1 , Berlin, Conn.
to discuss plans for a sign.
Appearing before the Committee was Mr . Joseph Squillacote,
Vice-President of Construction Unlimited and Mr . Joseph
Genovese of Genovese & DiDonno Inc . , 1623-1627 Wilbur Cross
Highway, Berlin, Conn. 06037 (former A L Sales Co . , Inc .
north of firehouse) , to discuss plans for renovation of
building.
lstipo The Committee also met with Mrs . Joyce Bukowski to discuss
plans for an 18 hole miniature golf course to be known as
JUNGLE GOLF , on the Wilbur Cross Highway across from the
Hawthorne Motor Inn, west side of highway , south of Absolute
Auto .
Mrs . Lukens , Coordinator for the Beautification Committee
stated that she had decorated 24 planters around town with
red bows for the holidays .
The next meeting of the Design Review Committee is scheduled
for February 7 , 1984 unless otherwise notified.
