The meeting opened at 7:30 p.m. with the three Selectmen present°
Item I The minutes of the meeting of January 30, 1961 were accepted as
w~itten.
Item II Attorney ~dwazd Olsen, Mr. Valentine, Attorney Paul Cavalliere,
~o and ~s. Chester Haber and Raymond Wojciul~wicz appeared before the
Board, at the Board's invitation, to examine lines as set for Stantack
Road by the Select~en.
James Kissane, Town Engineer, showed map with lines set as the .

The lines were based on what could be seen
re~or~[ Powers explained that the To, fa only wants fifty feet and that
the Board was interested at arriving at a compromise to avoid any
trouble in the future.
Mr. Powers and Mz. Kiss~ne then showed map which indicated a possible
compromise between interested parties.
Attorneys were given a maximum of thirty days t° work on a
compromise and report their findings to the Board.
The Board beiefly discussed Mro Haber's request for clarification
of his time schedule. Mr. Kerin suggested getting legal advise on the
matter before setting up a policy° )~co Powers felt there are several
parallel jobs and felt Selectmen should trod cautiously°
The meeting sdjonrned at 9:30
· t a special ~eeting held on Thursday morning, February 9, 1961,
bids were opened oa truck body. Bids were received from Springfield
Commercial Bod~ $1,055.00; Conn. Wheel and Rim $896.00; O.R. Cote,
$890.00. Bid was awarded to O. R. Cote, low bidde~.
