The meeting was called to order by Chairman M.Wnuk at 5:35 P.M. MINUTES The Minutes of the September 15,2005 meeting were approved by a motion by Chief Folcik and seconded by Chief Simons. Motion passed unanimously. VOICE OF THE PUBLIC - None OLD BUSINESS BUDGET—Chief Simons passed out copies of the updated budget to all officers present. It was agreed that the budget was workable. COMMUNICATIONS - Chief Wnuk stated that each department must submit a list of radios that they need so that the radios can be purchased. TRAINING -The Newington Training Tower is still at a standstill as to repairing it S.N.G.will be putting on a training program in the near future.Hazmat training will be held at the E.B.F.D. Firehouse on October 24 ,November 7 and November 14, 2005. ACCOUNTABILITY -It was reported that two departments need new batteries. Chief Lewandowski will take care of the batteries and he will also get some new name tags. DAY TIME RESPONSE - It was reported that the plan is working much better now. PHYSICALS - Chief Folcik reported that each department has to update their list of active Firemen. AIR COMPRESSOR - Chief Wnuk reported that the new compressor will be installed during the week of October 24,2005_ He stated that the installation would take a couple of days. The group presented him with as card of thanks and a gift certificate to J. Gilberts Restaurant in Glastonbury where he and his wife can enjoy an evening out together.
