BERLIN FIREHOUSE
The meeting was called to order by C. Haber, Chairman at 7:06 PM.
MINUTES
A motion was made by V. Lewandowski and was seconded by T. Chicker to
accept the Minutes as printed. Motion passed unanimously.
OFFICER'S INPUT
Chairman C. Haber explained to the Chiefs that purchase orders must be drawn
and that when bills are presented to the Fire Board for payment that the Chiefs must sign
the bill and include the account number that the bill is to be charged to,
In an open discussion,two( 2 )of the three Chiefs present stated that they
strongly felt that the Fire Board is no longer needed because they feel that they can
handle their own bills with less confusion. The Chiefs are going to study the entire
operation of the Fire Board further before they proceed with their plans.
OLD BUSINESS
Chairman C. Haber stated that the Town has a new vendor , East River Energy
from Guilford , Ct. for fuel oil deliveries to the Firehouses.

A motion was made by M. Blais and seconded by T. Chicker to pay all bills. The motion
passed unanimously.
GOOD OF THE ORDER
A general discussion of the Board members discussing the pros and cons of the
Chiefs' remarks and what effect it could have on the future of the Fire Board.
A motion was made by V. Lewandowski and was seconded by M. Blais to adjourn the
meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
