BERLIN FIREHOUSE
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Chester Haber at 7:15 P.M. The meeting
started a little late due to a few firemen were out fighting brush fires.
MINUTES
A motion was made by E. Wojtusik and was seconded by T. Chicker to approve the
minutes as printed. Motion passed unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS —
It was reported that the Town will bond money to purchase 4 new pieces of fire :_
apparatus. The 4 Chiefs will meet with the Town Manager to discuss this further on the = -.
bonding. It was also reported that$ 10,000 is needed to do the hose testing.
The Town waived the bidding process for radios. ($198,000 ).
The budget was passed at the Annual Town Meeting.

A motion was made by Ed Wojtusik and seconded by V. Lewandowski to pay all bills
and purchase the battery for KFD. Motion passed unanimously.
Chairman C. Haber stated that a count is needed as to how may firemen still need
physicals. The Town will cover the fund if more funds are needed.
Ann Dandrow talked to Bonnie Therrien on the State Funds for radios. Bonnie will
discuss this with the Radio Committee.
A motion was made by T. Chicker and was seconded by E. Wojtusik to adjourn the
meeting at 8:15 PM.
