1990-06-24 FIRE BOARD MEETING June 24, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 7: 10 P.M.
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as read. Motion
was made by Chet Haber to accept the minutes as corrected. Motion
was seconded by Mark Lewandowski.
Motion passed unanimously.
Ron read balances of all accounts.
CORRESPONDENCE:
Planning Commission Agenda for June 12 & 26 , 1990.
Budget change form from Finance Board for transfer of funds from
account #4.06 to account #237.
Emergency Action Guides Update from the Association of American
Railroads.
Flyer on seminar for Bureau of Explosives from the Association
of American Railroads.
Letter from Metro Mobile pertaining to $9. 95 monthly access charge .
Letter from Kensington Fire Department pertaining to capital
expenditure to their building.
Budget appropriation summary from Gary Clinton.
OLD BUSINESS:
Mark Lewandowski asked about 22 and 12 hose . Discussion followed.
• Motion was made by Bruce Trevethan and seconded by Mark Lewandowski
to buy the four pair of pants and seven jackets (Astro Suits) from
Industrial Surplus.
Motion passed unanimously.
Mark Lewandowski asked about the boots. Discussion followed.
Ron reported that the repeater will be installed near the water
tank on Ellwood Road.
Ron brought up the ten (10) year plan.
