Members present were: R. Lindgren, J. Fiori, R. Fiori, C. Haber, P. Dempsey, E. Zannetti, G. Skene, N. Martenelli, and E. Haber. First order of business was the opening of bids for Capital items.' Bidders present were representatives from New Britain Rubber Co. , and Soderburg. Bids presented were from, American Fire Equipment, American La- France, Shipman, Soderburg, New Britain Rubber Co. John Walsh, 0.B. Maxwell and Gowans Knight. After comparing bid prices, low bid items were accepted from the companies with the lowest bids. The Regular Business meeting was called to order at 8:25 P.M. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted. Statement of Account Balances were presented as follows : 1805 Monitor Account $ 5,682.02 1802 Utility Account 16,241.05. A letter was sent to the Mayor from the Chairman of the Fire Board in regard to problem with the Finance Director. A letter was received from the Mayor requesting that the budget for 78-79 be submitted to the Executive Board by Dec.1,1977. Motion was made to purchase tape for marking poles. 12 1 more needed at $7.95 each. Total $95.40. Motion was made by P. Dempsey and C. Haber.
