The meeting of the Fire Board was called to order by the Chair-
man at 7:i5 P.M. , at the Berlin Firehouse.
Members present were: R. Lindgren, J. Fiori, R. Fiori, G. Skene,
P. Dempsey, C. Haber, and C. Colaressi.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
There was no statement of account balances available.
The following bills were presented:

Motion was made to pay the above bills by C. Haber and G. Skene
Motion was made and accepted to approve the expenditure of
$375.00 for insulation of Kensington Volunteer Fire Department,
as stipulated by the Finance Board.
The Chairman of the Fire Board met with the Superintendant of
Schools to discuss the fire prevention program. The Superintendant
was enthusiastic about the program and said it would be used in
the school system as planned. The Board of Education also approved
the project.
Bids have been sent out for items in the 1977-1978 Budget.
A letter was received from Gary Clinton, Finance Director, in
regard to the 211 account, stating that a list of expenses be sub-
mitted by October 15,1977.
Budgets for 1978 will be due by November 17, 1977 meeting.
Auditors for the Town of Berlin are requesting copies of bids
for purchase of fire trucks through Revenue Sharing. Cogipanies
involved, Kensington, Berlin, and East Berlin are to return infor-
mation to Fire Board Chairman.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:05 P.M.
