The Design Review Committee met at 7:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 4, 1975 at
the Town Hall. Present were Mr. Emil Carlson, Mrs Sally Macfarlane, Mr. Gary
Her anowski, Dr. Philip Blake sly, Mr. Joe Stiano and Mrs Dorothy DeGiorgi.
There was an informal discussion concerning the propos,-d plans for an addition
to the Budney building on Wethersfield Road.
Mrs. :".acfa1ane re?orted that Mr. Stu Anson will co—chair the Beautification.
Committee with Ken Johnson. There will be a joint meeting of Beautification
and Design Review on February 18. Among the topis to be discussed will. be:
1) Farminrton Avenue project
2) New Britain Avenue
3) Webster Square
4) Railroad Station
5) Bicentennial plans
A letter was read from Banak Nursery on Norton Lane announcing an open house on
Frebrunry 7 to celebrate the opening of their new facilities.
The next meeting is scheduled for February 18, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall.
