May 16, 2018 Meeting Minutes
The Public Relations Committee met Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at The District
Offices at 245 Main Street, Cromwell, Connecticut. Committee Chairman, Joseph
Samolis called the meeting to order at 5:32 PM. In addition to the Chair, present
were Committee Members — Bonnie Anderson, David Bauer and Paul Catanzaro.
There was a quorum. Also present was Executive Director — Arthur G. Simonian.
1) Newsletter — Next edition June, 2018. The Committee members reviewed and
approved the June, 2018 Newsletter. Minor formatting changes will be made
as well as a small section will be added to highlight our new Operations
Manager, Michael Manfre effective July 1, 2018. The Executive Director will
email the changes to the Committee for review prior to the May Board of
Directors meeting.
Mr. Catanzaro moved, Mr. Bauer seconded, and the committee approved
unanimously:
MOTION: The Public Relations committee approves the June, 2018
Newsletter Edition (with edits) and final review by the Public Relations
Committee via email, the Committee refers this recommendation to the Board
of Directors for their review and approval.
2) Related Business and Staff Updates — None.
Adjournment:
Mr. Bauer moved and the committee approved unanimously to adjourn at 6:10
PM.
