CALL TO ORDER:

AUDIENCE OF CITIZENS: none
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Tuesday, June 9, 2015:
Commissioner Ramsey made a motion to approve the Minutes of Tuesday, June
9, 2015, as written. Commissioner Hoffman seconded the motion, and they were
unanimously approved.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Commissioners reviewed several site plans.
a. OCEAN STAR TRANSPORTATION, 128 Old Brickyard Ln – Site Plan
Amendment.
The Commissioners looked at a topography photo of the property and
commented that there looks to be a pond nearby that should have some oversight to
protect it from anything coming from the property/potential tenants in the future.
b. CRC HOMEBUILDERS, CARL CIARCIA, Lot 1, Block 72 Kensington Rd –
Subdivision.
The Commissioners commented that they are pleased with the reduced area of
impact, but still have their original concerns (from 2012) regarding the Plan of
Conservation Development (POCD) area being impacted, the effects of blasting and the
removal of rock. It seems that the wetland area is being mitigated and will be
enhanced to retain water for a longer period of time.

c. JPG PARTNERS LLC, 319 Main St, East Berlin
The Commissioners commented that the number of units has been reduced and
they seem to be staying out of the area prone to flooding. They hope the drainage
basin has been designed large enough to be effective.
d. Review of projects from July 7, 2015 Inland Wetlands and Water Courses
Meeting.
Chairman DeLorenzo mentioned the Farmington Avenue bridge project will be
going to public hearing at the August Wetlands meeting.
The Mill Crossing Office Park is looking to add the fifth building to their site.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. Use of Town Lands:
Chotkowski Conservation Area Sign
Chairman DeLorenzo showed a picture of the sign at the Chotkowski
Conservation Area and everyone was pleased. The Town signs also have a similar
format that everyone agreed looks nice.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS:
Chairman DeLorenzo reminded the Commissioners that the August meeting will
be cancelled.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Lewis moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 P.M. The motion
was seconded by Commissioner Hoffman, and unanimously approved.
